August 20th, 2026

Community Bank BDCU has invested $42,000 into four local community organisations through its Staff Impact Giving Program, giving employees the opportunity to direct funding towards causes they care about most.

The initiative placed decision making into the hands of all staff of the BDCU Group (The Collective Impact and Community Bank BDCU), who nominated local organisations making a real difference across the Southern Highlands and Tablelands.

Their collective votes resulted in funding being shared between organisations supporting palliative care, vulnerable animals, employment pathways and community wellbeing.

The funding has been distributed as follows:

·         Southern Highlands Community Hospice – $18,000

·         Friends of the Wingecarribee Animal Shelter – $10,000

·         Right to Work Goulburn – $8,000

·         Highlands Community Centre – $6,000
