VIP Online Security Tokens
BDCU has introduced Security Tokens to further protect internet banking users.
Developed by Australia Post, the security token is a small electronic device known as ‘two factor authentication’. It reduces the risk of someone accessing your account, even if they were to access your log-in codes.
How it works
When you use Internet Banking, simply enter your Login Name and Access Code as normal. Then push the grey button on your token and enter the code it displays. Simple, safe and smart.
Once your token is registered, you need to enter your code every time you log-in to Internet Banking.
How to register for your free token
You can register for a Security Token after you have logged into Internet Banking. Go to the 'Other' menu, select 'Security Options', then follow the simple instructions. Your Security Token should be delivered within 10 working days.
