There are five basic transaction accounts. These can be used to accept deposits, pay bills, and transfer money to where it needs to go. These apply to Personal Memberships.
Rediaccess / Cheque Account (S5)
Our simplest working account. This is the default account that is opened when you open a BDCU membership.
- no minimum opening or monthly balance
- optional cheque book available
- 'at call’ funds
- variable, tiered interest rate with interest paid on portion of balance within the tier
- interest calculated daily, paid annually on June 30th
Budget Account (S1)
Simple transaction account with lots of flexibility
- no minimum opening or monthly balance
- interest calculated daily on the closing balance and paid annually on June 30th
Investment Plus Account (S8)
An investment transaction account with funds ‘at call’ and:
- no minimum opening or monthly balance
- variable, tiered interest rate with interest paid on portion of balance within the tier
- interest calculated daily on the closing balance and paid monthly
Pension Deeming Accounts (S36 & S38)
Have your Australian Government Pension deposited automatically and use it to perform your transactions.• no minimum opening or monthly balance
- variable, tiered interest rate with interest paid on portion of balance within the tier
- interest calculated daily on the closing balance and paid monthly
FLEX Account (S88)
The flexible, multi-purpose transaction account that is free of eligible BDCU transaction fees if you have a minimum value of loans and deposits. General fees and charges may apply. ‘At call’ funds and optional cheque book available
