Trivia Night
BDCU Advice Centre Managers are holding a Trivia Night on Friday 23rd of May 2008 at Moss Vale Football Club, Donkin Street, Moss Vale.
Beginning at 7pm, the night will raise funds for the BDCU Childrens Foundation target of $500,000 to assist refurbish the children's ward at Bowral Hospital.
Everyone is welcome! You can either form your own table of 10 people or join a table on the night.
"The theme is 'My Earliest Childhood memory'. It is hoped that people will decorate themselves and their tables according to some memory that stands out in childhood," said spokesman Ross Stone.
"It will be a fun night with MC Sue Jackman from Bowral store Confetti; the bar will be open; there'll be a silent auction; raffles; best dressed table and best dressed person prizes; lucky door prize, not to mention the winning table for the trivia."
You are encouraged to join the fun by making early reservations. Tickets are available at the three Highlands-based BDCU Advice Centres or by calling Emma Vaughan on 4861 9000. Tickets are $10 each. Places are strictly limited, so be quick.
"We are already really excited about the response," said Emma Vaughan.
"This will be an ideal opportunity for everyone to have fun whilst helping raise funds for the refurbishment of the children's ward."
With the State Government having announced funding for the construction works to begin, plans are well in hand for the relocation of various services to allow work to commence.
It is expected to be completed in March 2009.
